You should wait until you get to the university before getting one, you should find there are educational discounts, you will also be able to get opinions from your tutors. it all depends if you are going to make art or scan art ,

by scan i mean use the traditional methods to make a concept photo and then use a scanner or camera to make a digitized version or the same ,



the final descision depends on you

i suggest you buy a good quality one like the intous if you are real good in the art you do or else i'd suggest you stick to the mouse
