I believe they are. What do u think and give a reason.Do you believe video games are art?
yes because they take you to another world or planet and sometimes its so belivable you wont stop playing for hours and alot of times developers care alot of how it looks so they can tell there story better and illustrate it to the public.
Absolutely. The amount of imagination, talent, skill, work and time that goes into games is unbelievable. Some games these days take 500 people 2 or 3 years to create. The final product is something that excites us, provokes us, inspires us, immerses us. All things that art attempts to do, and in my opinion, usually fails to do to anything like the level of a game. If games were seriously considered art, many of them would be considered masterpieces.

Someone can put a canvas painted plain red, a pile of broken bricks, or even piss-stained mattress in an empty room and call it art. Even win awards for it and have snotty ******* call it a masterpiece yet something like "Child of Eden" doesn't even qualify? It's BS. If we call it art then it is art and that's that.Do you believe video games are art?
Oh definately! there is a lot of work that goes into making them and you have to come up with the idea in your head. Instead of laying it out on paper, though, you do it on the computer and make it move. I think that is even more incredible than standard pallet art.
