I'm not talking about doing illegal or innapropriate things, but my boyfriend and I are going to an art museum in a few hours. Maybe like a scavenger hunt? Any other ideas? What are some games you can play in an art museum?
Sounds like a brilliant idea to me!
So, some ideas:
- Scavenger hunt - make a list of things before hand, then each have a list and see who is the first to find all of the items (eg. a dog, a flower, a woman looking in a mirror).
- A variant on that - try to find pieces that you think portray different moods and emotions - happiness, sadness, jealousy, love etc.
- Choose a painting/sculpture and try to guess when it was painted/made, what medium it is in, and then work out what you think it means, what the artist was trying to convey. Then you can check the information.
- Choose a piece of art and then see who can come up with the wackiest idea about what it symbolises/is about. This might work best with abstract art, but you can always come up with strange ideas about a lot of more traditional art as well, just use your imagination!
- Set yourself a time limit and see how many things you can spot within that time that are a particular colour/ how many shades of a particular colour you can spot.
Hope this helps, and have fun!

HIDE AND SEEK! or you can just get to the naked pictures and laugh at them? When I did that on a school trip about 30 people were just laughing at this painting because someone just said PENIS! and started laughing lool but that was ages ago, im 18 now so depending on your age you may or may not find this funnyWhat are some games you can play in an art museum?
An art museum isn't really an appropriate place for games. Maybe you should consider actually looking at the art instead, and maybe learning a few things.
make a contest of who can see the most ice cream cones in the clouds of all the paintings.
I like the scavenger hunt idea though. What are some games you can play in an art museum?
I suggest that you behave in a manner befitting a Museum.
How about..
Who can destroy the most pieces of precious art in a minute..?
