What jobs are there for game art and game development?

Can somebody please explain what the jobs are involved in game art and also what jobs there are in game development. Also what exactly does game art cover just drawing or designing levels. Also what is exactly is game development. I am thinking about getting a job in the video game industry and was wondering if anybody had any advice or tips thank you.What jobs are there for game art and game development?
First of a Game Artist, is also called a 3D Artist, it involves 3D modelling, usually using 3DMax or Maya. Just search 3D modelling and you can see. Also concept artist may fall in this category. Another thing, is Game Development is a big field, you can go into business in the game development, artist, programmer, design, music etc.. Also Game Designer would be the person that designs the levels, its a technical side, writing up rules for the game, gameplay etc. Another thing is game development isn't as easy as it may sound, just because you like playing game, doesn't mean you will enjoy making them.



I am no industry expert but i am a student, I have done alot of research on this and also have worked on some 3d games, you can also try that go to blenderartist or any other site, and try joining a team theres many teams aimed at "noobs".
