Just curious, because I have heard video games being referred to as art, and I want to know how that is so.How are video games art?

How are video games art?
It requires creativity, enginuity, and an open mind. It's like Media Art aka movies. only difference is that these are interactive.
They take long amounts of times to make, just as a piece of sophisticated artwork.

The graphics in some games are also amazing.
