I live in texas, im only a freshman in highschool but i would love to have a goal, i not only want to know the best in the country but in texas which i rather not be but my parents say its cheaper to go in state which i rather wouldn't it... is it?|||If you want to go to a great out of state computer science college, and the cost is too high for your family to afford, you will either have to work really hard in high school so that you can qualify for great scholarships or be offered adequate financial aid, or be satisfied with what your instate colleges can offer.
Look of the stats on colleges like Carnegie-Mellon, MIT, Stanford and see what they offer and require. Or you might be interested in the new Computer Science Department in development at the UofT Austin:

Please AVOID those private overly priced For-profit schools such as kaplan, ashworth, devry, ITT tech, strayer, argosy, capella, everest, brown mackie, Art institute, keiser, ashford, concorde career college, westwood, sanford brown, grand canyon, walden, colorado tech, university of phoenix and others as they are merely out to "make a profit" (** and their course credits usually do NOT transfer to other schools).
