What are some good arts and crafts and games to play with senior citizens?

well i am a volunteer at a nursing home and they put me in charge of arts and crafts and games but i can't really think of anything|||Well, this Senior Citizen likes to play Uno, Scrabble, Monopoly and most card games - we are old and can think pretty much the same way we used to!

CJ|||you would need to choose crafts suitable to age and and physical/mental conditions of you client. google, ''arts and crafts for seniour citizens '' for ideas.

Bingo is always popular the nursing home should have a library of activities.ask the person in charge what the residents are able/allowed to do,and check siutability of chosed activities.good luck.|||I saw this in a movie- The seniors are in a circle %26amp; you start with the first one %26amp; say, if you wanted to invite someone to a party, living or dead, who would it be? The second person has to take that name %26amp; add one %26amp; so on. It exercises the memory.|||Flower pressing....they could make cards or bookmarks....basic scrapbooking.....card making....as for games what about whist,|||Get a big beach ball. Have the seniors sit it a circle and toss the ball around. It really is fun and it provides a little exercise. Those who can stand, can retrieve the ball, toss it further, etc. Those who are wheelchair bound will still be able to participate and will have fun.|||Rent a movie for them, play cribbage|||There ... just TU'd all the answers. What was the q? ... oh, a good game is bean bag toss ... it's sweeping the area now. Toss the bean bag on the uphill slanted ramp and try to get it in the hole

Off to the next q. I'm on a TU mission.|||Bingo
