As in creating the art IN the games such as backgrounds, monsters, characters, weapons, etc? I'm an artist and would love to find an interactive career like one in the gaming industry.
Also, what kind of degree would be involved... and I don't care what the pay would be.Is there a career for game art design?
If you own a degree - or any extra qualification - then you'll already be ahead of the crowd when it comes to searching for professions. My pal has a degree and he wasn't sure what direction to go with it, but he stumbled upon some great guidance on the site in the resource box below which aided him to decide that he wanted to be a lab assistant. There is lots of help on the site regarding extra professions.
