Has anybody else noticed that GAMES ARE ALL THE SAME NOW DAYS??Are VIDEO GAMES an ART-FORM!!!!?

First person shooter, another first person shooter, first person shooter, fps, fps, rpg, fps, fps, wow a new call of duty so excited! (not) another cliche rpg, fps, wow a new fifa/pro/nfl so excited! not(not), e.t.c

Game designers are (p)ussies, they're scared to try anything original and unconventional coz it might not sell well, they keep rehashing the same old c(ra)p time and time again putting no heart into their game. Sure it's partly our fault coz we keep buying them and refuse to try anything new, but if all game designers made a conscious effort to be more original, then consumers will start liking innovative games and buy them.

The following game makes me believe that there is still hope:http://www.videogamer.com/pc/the_path/re鈥?/a>

know any games like this? I would love to hear your suggestions|||I Agree With Slipknot ^^^^^^^|||Games aren't all the same these days, you're just picking games that are pretty much just another version of a different game, it's not anyone's fault but your own.

And what do you want from an FPS? To shoot bananas from pipes and jump 50 foot in the air? It's a ******* FPS, of course it's going to be similar to every other FPS, it's the very nature of the genre, First Person Shooter... The game is in first person view, and it's a shooter...

Maybe you should stop focusing on the over-hyped games that over marketed and focus on the less popular ones.. Chances are, if a game is highly hyped and marketed, it's not going to be that great.... The less marketed games tend to be the original ones, and IMO, the better ones.
